What badge sizes do you supply?
We supply all common event badge formats: 62mm continuous sticker rolls (Brother QL820), and 4×3" and 4×6" thermal fanfold (Zebra ZD621). Custom sizes available on request.
Is badge stock included with printer rental?
Yes. All printer rentals include badge stock and consumables (ink, ribbons) for your expected attendee count. We always include a 30% buffer for walk-ins and reprints. No hidden charges.
Can I buy badge stock without renting a printer?
Yes. If you already own a compatible printer, you can purchase badge stock from us separately. We supply thermal fanfold, sticker rolls, and inkjet badge paper. Just let us know your printer model and badge format when you request a quote.
Will your printers work with my registration software?
Yes. Our printers work with any event registration platform that supports badge printing. We deliver pre-configured, tested hardware, you connect it to your software.
How do I know which equipment my event needs?
It depends on three things: attendee count, event type, and badge style. As a rule of thumb, plan for 1 check-in station per 50-100 attendees. Use the calculator above for a quick estimate, or just tell us about your event and we'll recommend the right setup.
What's the difference between sticker, thermal, and colour badges?
Sticker badges (Brother QL820): self-adhesive labels, fastest to print, great for trade shows and networking. Thermal badges (Zebra ZD621): paper badges and wristbands, industrial-grade for high-volume conferences. Colour badges (Epson/HP): full CMYK colour for branded badges with logos and photos.
Can I rent for just one day?
Yes. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rental options. Most event rentals are 1-3 days. Confirm at least one business day before your event for same-day delivery.
Do you offer onsite setup and support?
Yes. For larger events, we can arrange an onsite technician for setup and live troubleshooting. All rentals include phone support during your event at no extra charge.
How far in advance should I book managed services?
We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks before your event for Fully Managed services. This gives us time for consultation, staff scheduling, and badge design review. For DIY rental, 1 week is usually sufficient.
How many staff do you provide per event?
Staff numbers are scaled to your event size. As a guideline: 1 registration staff per 100-150 attendees, plus 1 senior technician. For a 500-person conference, you'd typically have 3-4 registration staff and 1 technician.
Can your staff operate my registration software?
Yes. Our staff are trained on all major event registration platforms including Cvent, Bizzabo, Whova, Eventbrite, and others. During the pre-event consultation, we'll familiarize ourselves with your specific software and workflows.
What happens if equipment fails during the event?
Our senior technician handles all troubleshooting onsite. We also bring backup equipment for critical items like printers and WiFi routers. If a device fails, the technician swaps it immediately, typically within minutes, not hours.
