Size Your Registration Desk in Seconds
Tip: this is your most crowded hour, usually doors-open or the lunch return. If 60% of a 1,000-person conference arrives in the first hour, your peak-hour number is 600, not 1,000.

How the calculator works
A quick read of the assumptions baked into the numbers, so you know when to trust the output and when to call us.
Peak-hour, not total attendees
Sizing from total event headcount over-provisions for slow events and under-provisions for spiky ones. We size from the busiest hour because that's the queue you'll actually see.
Coverage ratios from real events
1 badge printer per 150 to 250 attendees per hour (depending on technology), 1 check-in tablet per 75, 1 staff laptop per 300, 1 Wi-Fi router per 500. Tuned across 13+ years of Singapore conferences, expos, and corporate events.
Walk-ins are the wild card
On-site registrations (people who didn't pre-register) typically take twice as long to process. If more than 20% of your attendees walk in cold, add one extra check-in station beyond what the calculator shows.
Printer choice changes throughput
Thermal and label printers print a badge in 4 to 6 seconds. Full-colour cards take 12 to 18 seconds. The technology you pick changes the printer count more than the attendee number does.
Setup window is delivery + test
The setup time shown is the SGPad crew's onsite window before doors open: unbox, position, configure, integrate with your registration software, do a live test print. For Fully Managed events we usually add a same-day rehearsal.
Final quote is event-specific
Venue layout, multi-entry-point setups, multi-day events, branded badge artwork, and PDPA requirements all change the final quote. Treat the calculator as a starting estimate and let us tune it.
